    really good food
    helpful staff

Amazing place with free parking, a cute bar, and 24-hour reception. I'll always remember how the staff helped me find my lost jewel during my first stay. I recommend dining here too. The food is really good!

While we were having breakfast, the waitress sang 2 songs & the entire dining room began to clap & sing - have never experienced such a thing -it was very enjoyable.

The room was fairly basic, the bed wasn't very comfortable but overall it was very good value

Simply nothing to complain about, pleasant stay. Very good breakfast choice with mushroom and oatmeal, for example. Comfortable location not far from pubs and restaurants, centre of pretty bustling town of Kenmare and the Wild Atlantic Way in Kinsale Kenmare Galway, could not be better. Also, close to shops and restaurants...

The room was compact and spotless with a window that opened onto city. The bed was exceptionally comfortable & the staff was fantastic friendly. Location: the hotel was close enough to the attached pub and centre of Kenmare and the Wild Atlantic Way in Kinsale Kenmare Galway & Westport.

Location,Evening receptionist, staff, Victorian Decor and very accomodating and sympathetic with certain issues we had due to booking on line.

The fact that internet bookings even though paying the same rate and more were not given a better room in the hotel. We had to ask to be moved from a dark, depressing basic room and yes it was admitted by staff because we booked on line we got a lesser standard of room, most disappointing. We were advised in future to ring direct and ask for a king room Take note Booked.net, a disappointing result!!!!!. Breakfast very basic choice of menu after having such wonderful breakfasts in other establishments in the west and south west

    friendly staff
    vibrant location
    limited parking
    full restaurant
    busy lounge

The location is vibrant, perfectly situated near shops and cafes. Staff were friendly, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service. The recently redecorated room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. Dinner was nice, especially the fish and chips, delicious. Unfortunately, parking can be limited, and the restaurant's tables fill up quickly, so it's best to plan ahead. A lovely lounge area would be even better with expanded seating options during busy hours.

Excellent location, cosy well appointed room, excellent breakfast. Included evening meal when you stay 2 nights. Secure car park on grounds. Strong free Wi-Fi.

No lifts so had to lug suitcases up stairs. We stayed during the annual livestock fair/sales which are held in the street outside the Hotel. This meant the staff seemed to be run off their feet most of the time. The reception desk was rarely manned and we had trouble getting our car into and out of the car park. They also managed to stuff up our dinner reservation. I don't think this was typical. Just a bad time to stay.

We were there only one night, but it was quite comfortable. The breakfast was very good! The location in Kenmare was perfect, and the town is just right as a jumping off place for touring the Ring of Kerry.

    really good breakfast

    can't wait to come back

Room 401 was beautifully decorated. We loved the cotton sheets and the fluffy duvet. The bathroom had modern fixtures and heated underfloor tiles. There were complimentary toiletries like shampoo and body soap. Breakfast was really good with delicious options. The staff was super nice. The location was perfect for exploring town.

    Charming, Charming, Charming

I was smitten by the cozy, elegant decor. The live traditional Irish music in the bar created such a vibrant atmosphere, I didn't want the night to end! The culinary delights featured local ingredients, and each bite at dinner was a celebration of flavor.

    charming town
    beautiful park

perfect base for exploring lovely kenmare and nearby attractions

The hotel is right in the heart of the charming town. The beautiful reengross park is just a few steps away where I enjoyed good walks and lovely views. The breakfast could use a bit of improvement in terms of variety and portion sizes.

We were very happy with the Lansdowne Arms and the very professional staff. Breakfast was excellent, The bar and facilities were lovely. Well taken care of and the location is perfect. I feel that it is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. "Claudagh" and staff treated us like royalty and we will be staying there again if we are ever in that area.

The parking area in back is rather tight and can be hard to navigate but otherwise everything was great.
